Information for Recent Graduates of Australian Universities

If you are graduating from an Australian university and are planning to apply for migration under the General Skilled Migration category, or require a skills assessment as part of your application to DIAC, please note that you cannot send in your Migration Skills Assessment application to the ANMC for assessment until you have received your Australian registration.

Australian registration must be granted before you can lodge your Migration Skills. Please ensure that you have enclosed the necessary documents so that your application can be processed without us needing to contact you for further information as this will only delay your application.

We understand that temporary or student visas expire soon after completion of the academic program and our staff attempt to expedite all applications to assist with transition to employment and residency in Australia.
