Professional Practice Framework

The Professional Practice Framework is the suite of standards that guide and determine professional practice for nurses and midwives in Australia.

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who are the regulatory authority for nursing and midwifery now own the Professional Practice Framework. It was officially transferred to them at the recent event to celebrate the reconstituted ANMC becoming the accrediting body for mursing and midwifery under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme.
