2010 Steering Committee for the WP/SEAR meeting, Singapore.

The 2010 Steering Committee is comprised of:

Pauline Tan, Registrar, Singapore Nursing Board
Hememala Vithanarachchi, Sri Lanka
Bertha Tarileo, Vice Chairperson, Vanuatu Nursing Council
Eseta Hope, Samoa Board of Nursing
Iokopeta Ngari, Chief Nursing Officer & Chairperson, Cook Islands Nursing Council
Su-Chen Kuo, Graduate Institute of Nursing/Midwifery, National Taipei College of Nursing, Taipei, Taiwan

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council will continue to provide the secretariat support for WP/SEAR until the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia takes over in the near future
in its role as the national regulatory authority.

The role of the Steering Committee includes:

Developing a program for each WP/SEAR meeting.
Assisting with the organisation of the meeting and liaison with the host country planning group.
Receiving and exchanging information on regulation within the WP/SEAR meeting regions.
Preparing reports as necessary for the International Conference steering group.
Progressing work and issues arising from WP/SEAR meetings.

The Steering Committee would like to thank Adjunct Associate Professor Robyn Collins (NMBWA) for her work as the previous Steering Committee Chair.
