WP/SEAR Common Competency Standards
WP/SEAR Common Competency Standards March 2006 (PDF 411 KB)
ANMC is currently developing a database of all countries in the WP/SEAR region that have used/adopted these competencies. As of 30th September 2009, feedback has been received from the following jurisdictions regarding the use of the WP/SEAR Common Competencies for Registered Nurses.

| Vanuatu | Accreditation Committee has previously agreed to adopt the WP/SEAR Common Competencies |
| Bangladesh | Use a checklist based on the WP/SEAR Common Competencies to assess nurses |
With ongoing assistance from all WP/SEAR jurisdictions, the ANMC will be able to develop a comprehensive database of the countries that use or have adapted these competencies into nursing practice. In the near future the aim is to provide links from this website to view the adaptations of the competencies that countries have made.
